The 'miserable' washout has begun, as the Met Office issues two yellow weather warnings stretching into Sunday covering much of England, Wales and Scotland. Forecasters warn southern coastal areas of England could see gusts of up to 65mph and others could be at risk of flooding before the end of the weekend, as the French storm that arrived Friday is followed by another band of cold and blowy conditions.
