A demonstration against immigration and the increase in journeys made by refugees crossing the English Channel in dinghies to the UK took place on Saturday, Sept 5, 2020 - in Dover, England. The demonstrators blocked the main dual carriageway into the port after an earlier demonstration by migrant supporters in the town's Market Square. At least 100 officers were at the scene on the A20 while protesters block the road and shout 'England 'till I die'. Fears of violence were voiced and local MP Natalie Elphicke pleaded for people to 'stay away' over COVID fears.
