Britain BA Job Losses Protest

Staff and residents gathered outside the Spanish Embassy in Belgravia Square this afternoon in London to demonstrate, against the airline’s treatment of workers during the coronavirus pandemic. Protest leaders Unite union are calling for the British government to speak out against British Airways’ (BA) plans to dismiss 42,000 staff and rehire 30,000 on what the union calls ‘inferior contracts’.
Some of the British MPs have supported BA workers, with over 160 of them to have signed workers pledge to strip BA of its lucrative landing slots if they don’t step back.
